A los dirigentes de la OSM: .¡Shalom Uvrajá! .Como judío observante de la Torá, y firme defensor del derecho incuestionable del pueblo judío a la soberanía de la Tierra de Israel, me registré para votar en las elecciones de Organización Sionista Mundial. Como partidario de un movimiento que representa mis creencias, tomé parte activamente en ayudar a reunir las firmas necesarias para permitirles registrarse y participar como partido en las elecciones de la OSM. Sin embargo, cuando recibí la notificación de que la votación había empezado, me sorprendí al darme con que el partido al que yo me había ofrecido de voluntario, había sido excluido de la lista para partidos elegibles. As a Torah-believing Jew, and always a steadfast defender of the unquestionable right of the Jewish People over the sovereignty of the Land of Israel, I registered to vote in the World Zionist Organizations elections. As a sympathizer of a movement that represents my beliefs, I actively participated in helping gather the necessary signatures to enable them to be registered and participate as party in the WZO elections. Evidence of my participation in this effort is readily available in my blog: (http://rafvrab.blogspot.com/). Yet, when I received the notification that voting had started, I was flabbergasted to find that the party for which I had volunteered had been excluded from the list for eligible parties. I have always thought of the WZO as a democratic institution, where Jews of diverse ideas and approaches to Jewish observance had equal opportunity to express their support and connection to the Jewish rights over Eretz Israel. Why are those who defend my way of understanding Torah Zionism being excluded for participating in the WZO elections -- and thereby prevented from defending the ideas of a great many Jews like me from being expressed in a democratic forum -- in spite of their compliance with the rules and regulations for running? I am deeply distraught, and I demand not an empty apology, but the rightful inclusion of the Revava movement in the ballot. I shall withhold my vote until I am allowed to cast it in support of whom I truly wish to have representing me in the Congress of the Jewish People. . Sincerely, . Rafael V. Rabinovich
